Tinkering around with SLI + Linux

Tinkering around with SLI + Linux
Hello there, was playing around with my son's old vid card (GTX 295 -Dual GPU) in a Linux(Mint15x64) box running 313.3 Linux-x86_64 drivers (works fine, sees both GPU,Games/Steam works), so I did Unigine benchmark and got strange results (please see image). Unigine support SLI and have seen result showing "x2" on other SLi rigs.
Noticed only one GPU showing and Half the Memory, so I checked:
Testy@Linux-i7~ $ lspci | grep VGA
04:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT200 [GeForce GTX 295] (rev a1)

From memory, isn't there not supposed to be 2 of showing? Just curious because in Win7 getting much better Fps.
Thanks, and to anyone that may have had a similar issue I would be grateful to hear your experience.

  1. Solution
The issue (if anyone is interested) was I was using dual monitors and it seems Sli does not work with TwinView, here is an excerpt from nvidia site (Readme:Chapter 25. Configuring SLI and Multi-GPU FrameRendering):
    Other Notes and Requirements

The following other requirements apply to SLI and Multi-GPU:

TwinView is also not supported with SLI or Multi-GPU. Only one display can be used when SLI or Multi-GPU is enabled, with the exception of Mosaic.

If X is configured to use multiple screens and screen 0 has SLI or Multi-GPU enabled, the other screens configured to use the nvidia driver will be disabled. Note that if SLI or Multi-GPU is enabled, the GPUs used by that configuration will be unavailable for single GPU rendering.
