Fedora 22
I like RH and CENTOS servers, always have, I was hoping to move to Fedora 22 (last time I tried was 19) as a workstation, but it such a tinker-bitch and I haven't the time or inclination.
Got it all set up, works great, very snappy, I like DNF's (yum replacement) functionality just stuffing up with the prop Nvidia drivers, makes me sad :(

What issue you having with the NVIDIA driver? I can't get the latest beta to run on my laptop
ReplyDeleteInstalled akmod-nvidia via rpmfusion and got No screen and Ooops Screen, didn't bother tinkering with blacklisting and patching kernel (it is 2015 isn't it?)lol
ReplyDeleteWhich nvidia driver version was it?
ReplyDeleteI think it was 346, also disabled wayland on GDM, back to nouveau now, and is working OK (its not my daily driver so not too bothered).
ReplyDeleteWatch out for Fedy (https://satya164.github.io/fedy/) -- it's a really nifty tool that will let you install all sorts of things at the touch of a button, but it doesn't seem to support F22 properly (it still points to the Livna repo for some packages)
ReplyDeleteYes Carlos Lopez , used it, had to install the dvd encryption libs manually.
